Slothwork architects designs book fair for Chinese archives

Lazy architects designed a kiosk in Shenzhen, China for a dossier that specializes in selling books on architecture. In addition to displaying books, designer furniture is also on display. The designer’s main concept was inspired by the building’s construction phase before completion.
Therefore, the materials they chose for the showroom are commonly used on construction sites. Lightweight steel keels, carpentry panels, concrete block bricks, safety nets and blast-proof lights are not commonly seen in the design, but Sloth Architects chose to make them the ultimate finish for this booth.
The bookshelf is designed as a book turned inside out, while the bookshelf is made from lightweight steel beams and wood paneling. Concrete blocks serve as supports for chairs where visitors can sit and relax with a book. lazy architects wanted to leave the booth under construction to entertain the architects and builders who visited the exhibition.
