The ongoing construction of a parking lot and a market in the Kemer region by Antalya Municipality is 85% complete. The project will conduct training during the tourist season and open its services to the public.
The Kemer parking and market project, initiated by Antalya Mayor Mukhittin Nasekom, is in full swing. The project is designed to meet the basic needs of Kemer and includes 160 markets, most of which have already been completed.
Under the project implemented by the Investment Department of the Metropolitan Municipal Bureau of Science, the manufacture of columns and beams, as well as prefabricated girders of a building with an area of 3,000 square meters, was completed. Painting work continues on the steel porch. An administrative building, a city police station, a prayer room and toilets will also be built in the parking lot and the market, which are currently 85% complete. While work on the administrative building continues, work has allegedly begun on the preparation of asphalt.
The Antalya Municipal Government, which attaches great importance to the protection of nature and the environment, has revised the project plan so as not to damage the three red pine trees in the project area. Instead of cutting down trees, a new project was prepared. The design has been updated without touching the pine trees that run through the building.
The area will be used as a covered market and car park, and in the absence of a market, arrangements have been made to park 117 cars. There will also be parking for bicycles and motorcycles in the area.
