Headwaters Roofing Group acquires three manufacturers

Headwaters Roofing Group announced the acquisition of three prominent roofing companies in North America in the fourth quarter of 2015.
The acquired businesses—Metro Roof Products, Enviroshake, and Steel Rock Roof Products—are top-notch, specialist roofing companies. Each company will continue to enter the market the way it has done in the past.
Metro Roof Products, located in Oceanside, California, is a manufacturer of stone-faced metal roofs that look like real shingles and tile roofing. Metro emphasizes the importance of its proprietary methods of using steel, primer and granite chips in metal roofing, which are the result of meticulous research and development. This unique process makes the products outstanding both in terms of aesthetics and durability. It is available in 5 architectural profiles: MetroSHAKE, MetroSHINGLE, MetroTILE, MetroROMAN and MetroCOTTAGE Shingle. In addition, the company introduced a number of “novelties” for stone-faced metal roofing, including “concealed fasteners” for direct attachment to shingles, “rake with built-in mounting edge” for weather protection, and innovative “nails”. . -on” without slats, attached directly to the masonry shakers.
EnviroShake Quality Engineered Roofing is a Canadian company headquartered in Chatham, Ontario. The company produces three popular profiles: EnviroShake, EnviroShingle and EnviroSlate, which are made from 95% recycled materials. The company’s roofing products are covered by a 50-year lifetime warranty for residential buildings and a 50-year warranty for commercial projects.
Steel Rock Roof Products, headquartered in Placentia, California, is, as the name suggests, a manufacturer of rock coated galvanized steel roofs. The collection includes Pacific Villa-Tile, reminiscent of a traditional barrel tile, Pacific Shake HD, a wood effect shaker panel, and Pacific, featuring a traditional low-profile tile design. All Steel Rock panels have class A fire resistance, class 4 hail resistance and high wind performance. The company now also offers highly reflective roofing materials that comply with the Energy Star standard.
“These acquisitions are in line with our strategy to better serve our customers.” “Our long-term goal is to make Headwaters Roofing Group a niche roofing supplier for a range of quality products.”
